HOW TO TRACK YOUR STOLEN OR LOST PHONE USING BOTH GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND IMEI CODE

FIND YOUR PHONE USING GOOGLE ACCOUNT

Here is the simple method to track your stolen or lost phone

With google account you can find your phone as quickly as possible

So I'm going to walk you through until you find your device

So in oder to find your device using google account you must have the following 

Req: A google account which is logged in on your stolen or lost phone

: you must download an application from playstore named FIND MY DEVICE

those are the only requirements for this process

Let's start the procedure

Now open the find my device app that you have downloaded from playstore. Then login as guest because we are not using that phone which has been stolen, put that google account which is logged in on that stolen phone and its password. Allow that phone you are using to find your device, actually it might take some time depending on your connectivity. After your phone has been found you will be given 3 options 

1: Erase data

You can use this option if you feel that your stolen phone have some important information that you don't anyone to have access to it then there's no way you have to erase data for the sake of your information's safety

2: Lock the device

Yes in this option you can lock your device remotely.

As for me I don't recommend you to lock your phone because that person who stole it can reset that and you no longer access it because your google account will be no longer logged in

3: Ring 

This can be used when you lost your phone and you are trying to find it you can find its location and then ring it to find it.

When you buy your you must keep the package box safe because that's where you can find the IMEI code easily

There other ways to find that IMEI code on your phone and you must write it down somewhere

Let's start the procedure

First of all download the application named IMEI PHONE TRACKER  from google playstore

Open it and chose your phone type then next and then input  Imei code of your stolen phone

⚠ ⚠ IMEI code is like a key it only works on  one device

Then it will view the map and start searching and it will find your device if you provide the correct IMEI code
